17 New windows and more energy saved.

Problem:

As the weather began to cool, the home owners started to notice t​hat even when the heater was on and the doors were closed, rooms in the home were still cold. There are 3 ways you lose energy in your home:

1. Infiltration allows cold or heat to pass through small crevices.

2. Conduction is the transfer of heat through matter.

3. Radiation is the movement of energy through space.

If you have single pane or poorly installed windows, it's like trying to heat or cool your home with the door open year round.

Solution: We updated 16 of the exterior windows to Mezzo windows by Alside which are optimized to meet Energy Star requirements. We also did a really cool interior window to provide light in a room that has no exterior windows.
